ugh...ow.
Otakon was pretty much what i expected. way too many people, despite how entirely too large the place is, and far too disorganized for my taste XP
HOWEVER
i had fun :3 despite it all
I enjoyed walking around with Sako and Molly all in costume along with James, Rachel and everyso often, Dizzy. i liked seeing friends that i -never- get to see anymore otherwise *snugs teh crissy* and i don't regret spending money on stuff i got. didn't even overspend for once ^.^
and best of all? I got to meet Peter S. Beagle, who was there, signing books and meeting people <3
(for those who don't know, he wrote the last unicorn AND one of my favorite episodes of ST:TNG *nerd*) very soon i shall have a signed copy of the book from him *glee* i didn't even know he was there until sako told me, at which point there was no other option.
on the more unfortunate side, i am in such a great deal of pain atm x.x it took all i could to get myself to work today because i literally screwed myself up from the thighs down. i'm burned, aching, twisted and all around in pain from the skin straight to the bones because: a) i wore new shoes. bad idea. b) i didn't think about the consequences of wearing a skirt when it was going to be so hot. and c)i have bad knees in general *duh*
limping around work isn't fun, but at least i get to sit for most of it. it's when it starts to hurt while sitting that i get worried.

highlight of the con?
Molly in her Kingdom hearts Saix costume getting molested by a tall and strangely attractive Marluxia (pink wig and all) with no more firepower than a fake flower and his oozing libido. XD funny as shit.
oh, and for the record, i reject all you people and your harry potter spoilers u.u once i get around to getting the book, i'll enjoy it regardless. so there.
