This took WAY too long for how much i really don't like how it turned out >:[
but oh well. i went too far to just scrap the whole thing so i at least finished, despite the fact that it wasn't how i pictured.
bah.
but after seeing the episode where Gabriel shows up (woo!) this got stuck in my head and i had to draw it. yes, there are a MILLION other things i should be working on right now, but it wouldn't let me go, i swear.

regardless, i hope people can at least tell who they are (spn people, that is) and why i thought it would be amazingly badass to draw them this way. (despite, y'know, FAILING at it)

and if you still can't tell who they are (which means i did worse than i thought, lol) it's Left to Right; Castiel, Anna, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel and Lucifer.
and yes, the different suit styles/current states were completely on purpose X3
All from Kripke's universe, not mine. My Raph, Gabe, Uriel and Lucifer look WAY different.

Hahaha, oh god my halftone shades, um...can we say 'Daunt sucks at coloring'?? If I do any decent justice by coloring a piece it usually takes me a million years!

AND LIES I say, your work is awesome! <3 I'm not so good with the fun poses and group shots. I may be stuck in the land of tons of black and stoic/pensive expressions, lol.

Manga Studio is what I use for most of my stuff, it makes halftone shading easy. :) Give it a shot sometime, I think they have a demo on the Smith Micro site...

i've heard of mango studio, actually, tho i've never tried it myself. all the toning i've ever done has been in photoshop. in other words, the hard way X)
EDIT: and by mango studio, i mean manga. the non-fruit version *facepalm*

Now I want to try the FRUIT version of Manga Studio! Honestly, it was a tricky program to get use to. I had to create some work arounds to doing some things because it was just too weirdly set up in Manga Studio. I outsource a lot of my stuff to Photoshop so it's easier to cut crop and resize.

Ahhh, really?? I would ADORE doing a collab! Anytime! :D We should talk when you have time about what we could draw together...

And YEAH photoshop is such a pain in the butt for tones. :[ If you ever want to try MS though and need some help or tips or whatever, just let me know. :)

and indeed, as soon as i have the time i will totally hit you up. tho i can't take anything else at the moment or strangeandcharm will kill me for not finishing her story art first XD but after that! most def :3

now that i think about, i think the reason i never messed with manga studio was cause it was kinda tricky...and i'm lazy(ish), but who knows. i'll stick to my markers for now <3

Sweet, just let me know when you have time! I'm finishing some fic art myself and I want to get it done THIS weekend because holy crap, the writer wrote faster than I'd anticipated. D: So it's all good! Just poke me when your time frees up.

lol, that would be good reason to drop the damn thing like a bad habit. I struggled with it for a while before finally getting the hang of it. (I'd love to fly to their office and show them how to build a good user interface, sheesh!)
